About us
Apricot Electronics Ltd is based in Lancaster in the North-West of the UK and provides a host of specialist engineering services to aid customers with bringing their innovative ideas into the physical world.
Vahe Agababian, Founder & CTO of Apricot Electronics Ltd, has a lifelong passion for making things. After a short career as a Bench Joiner he went to University to study Electronics & Computer Engineering and then Microelectronics & System-on-Chip Engineering, and has worked in industry as a design engineer for the last 10+ years. His duties have included writing feasibility studies, designing Proof-of-Concepts and developing and testing electronic systems for innovative commercial products and grant-funded R&D projects (TRLs 1-6). Vahe understands the struggles of the customer and has first-hand experience with outside-the-box problem solving. Vahe is a Member of the IET, and in his spare time he continues to hone his practical skills, practising 3D printing, TIG welding and woodworking amongst other things.
